The CIDEMAT (Insular Center of Water Sports of Tenerife) (above), was founded 10 years ago by the Sports Council of the Goverment of Tenerife Island, the Center is a recognizeg Sialing Center of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation.
Tenerife Island has been chosen in 2005, 2006 2007 as the winter venue of the Olimpic Spanish Sailing Team (1_left).
Also several Olimpic Laser Standard and Radial sailors espend long seasons training in our coast, enyoing the hospitality and the facilities of the Canarians.
We can see very often
the Spanish Laser Standard Olimpic in Quingdao Javier
Hernández training with some of the best world ranked sailors as Julio Alsogaray (ARG);
Alejandro Foglia (URU); Juan Maegly; José
Miguel Ruiz (VEN), or the French sailor of the Olimpic Team Jeremi
Steayart (FRA) (Hernández & Alsogaray 2_left).
Also spend long seasons in Tenerife, Láser Radial sailors, Alicia Cebrián (ESP), Tatiana Drozdovskaya
BLR (2008 world champion) and Gintare Volungeviciute y Alisra Milevicintela (LTU),
